We offer styling for any occasion, such as a mother-of-the-bride/groom, a black-tie event, a presentation, a speaking engagement, or a special dinner event. Here, we are giving an example of the mother of the bride.
We completely understand how special and exciting it must be for you to hear about your child's upcoming wedding. You must be feeling a mix of emotions, and as a mother of the bride or groom, you deserve to feel confident and beautiful on this special day. As the mother of the bride, you play a significant role in the wedding. You want to ensure you look your best and feel confident on the big day, which means finding the perfect mother-of-the-bride outfit and accessories. However, this process can be overwhelming and stressful, and feeling panicked is common.

how does it work …
After an initial Zoom call, we will send you some homework to complete to learn all about your big day and your needs.
The ‘mother-of-the-bride’ or occasional styling consultation will take place at my studio in Exeter. To begin, we will assess the colour of your skin tone, body shape, proportions, scale, and facial features. After gathering this information, we will create a personalised document via Canva that recommends what colours and dress styles are best suited to you. We will also suggest the appropriate fabrics, cuts, and make-up colours that complement your skin tone and advise you on the size and shape of jewellery that will flatter you. As everyone is unique, we will provide you with specific guidelines that cater to your individual needs.
The face-to-face workshop will be a collaboration where we both can enjoy coming up with some fab ideas from Pinterest, pictures, or drawings to make this a fun experience.
The online session will be the same through a series of emails and calls via Zoom.
Whatever consultation you choose, you will go away feeling more confident, knowing that you have valuable information that will save you time and money. It will also help you communicate clearly with your make-up artist and have the foundations of your body shape, personal style, and special rules that will be with you for your future capsule wardrobe.
